Masters of Endurance
For those who are unaware, Masters of Endurance was the pinnacle of Live for Speed endurance racing, running for seven years until the final 24 hours of Aston Grand Prix in January 2012. The league featured names that may be familiar to iRacers - drivers such as Hugo Luis, Jesse Nieminen, Isaac Price, Martin Krönke, Teemu Iivonen and teams like My3id Gaming, ineX Racing, nFinity eSports, and CoRe Racing. With the introduction of driver swaps almost upon us, it’s now time for Masters of Endurance to make a comeback and give iRacing drivers and teams the opportunity to test themselves against one of the most grueling schedules in sim racing.
GoT Endurance Series
Gathering of Tweakers (GoT) is very proud to announce the second Season of the Gathering of Tweakers Endurance Series (GES) as the official support series for the of the NEO Endurance Series (NES)! The GoT Endurance Series will follow the NEO Endurance Series schedule and provide support races on the same weekend as the NES races, on the Saturdays before the NES races. The GES will visit the same tracks and use similar rules, and will also be broadcast by Racespot TV – allowing for a very realistic full race weekend with the GES support series on Saturdays followed by the NES main event on Sundays.
Furthermore, the top 3 finishers in the GES will receive an official invitation to participate in the next season of the NEO Endurance Series! The GES is designed to be slightly more accessible than the NES to give other drivers and teams a chance at racing as part of a prestigious series.
Neo Endurance Series
NEO Endurance is proud to announce a new series. A series where the organizers and endurance fanatics all have been waiting for, the NEO Endurance Series (NES). Season 1 of the NES will start this November. On Monday August 4th NEO announced their new and long awaited NEO Endurance Series. Ever since the start of NEO, early 2013, the goal was to organize long endurance races with driver swaps. Everything NEO has done until now, was with NES in mind. Right after the NEO GT Series has ended, the preparations for the NES began. A couple of weeks ago Steve Myers released a new blog with an ETA on the long waited feature: season 4, this year. Driver swaps will be expected around the end of October.
